I started this blog during the final year of my undergraduate experience, in the hopes of disciplining myself to write. It’s taken on new purposes as I’ve moved on through life overseas and two master’s degrees. I write my thoughts on life, what I’m studying and (probably a little too often) the pop culture I indulge in.
As of January 2013, I am working on a PhD in Sociology of Religion at Queen’s University Belfast. I hold two Masters degrees from Baylor University – one in International Social Work and one in Cross-Cultural Religious Anthropology. Professionally I am interested in language, gender, religion and the intersections of those three.
Personally I am interested in coffee, friends, laughter, good stories and my family in all its various forms.
